A round loop, closed and usually welded. Stock diameters — not jewelry wire, not a snap ring under 4 mm.

Closed rings are 2D CNC plus a weld when the loop has to take load without opening. Inside diameter and wire size are the quote. Resistance or MIG at the joint depending on diameter and alloy.
1018 zinc for plant hardware. 304 for outdoor and washdown.
