Fan guards here are a 2D or 3D frame in 3/8, 7/16, or 1/2 in plus welded mesh when the opening has to be covered. Resistance on the grid, MIG on mounts and rims. 1018 zinc or powder; 304 in wet air.
Residential register wire and light 9-gauge grille are under 4 mm. We will name that instead of quoting them as production. HVAC and equipment fans that need a real frame sit in this directory and under ventilation.
